This Monday, Civil Guard agents discovered a body in an inaccessible place in the Masca area of Buenavista del Norte, Spain, where young British man Jay Slater went missing.
Authorities believe that the body belongs to a boy who had been missing for almost a month, the publication explains. El Espanyol.
The 19-year-old was working as a bricklayer in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, and was on holiday with friends. He was last seen in the Teno Rural National Park, a rugged and remote area on the opposite side of the island from the holiday home where he was staying. All indications are that Jay died as a result of an accidental fall.
Spanish police said that various Civil Guard units had been conducting “a constant search for the young man every day in the Masca area” for 29 days and that they would await the results of an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
