Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov has called for building a social center in the republic instead of a monument to him, he said during a plenary session of the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF). July 16, TASS reports.
During the plenary session “The Greater Caucasus – from sea to sea”, after Mikhail Gutseriev’s speech, Ramzan Kadyrov said: “Mikhail Safarbekovich [Гуцериев] He gave me this advice: “If you hold out for three months, they can erect a monument to you.” I resisted, I survived. But it is not necessary to erect a monument, at least to build some kind of object in the republic.”
The philanthropist and founder of the Samfar Group also said that a school and a hospital had been built in Chechnya.
It should be noted that the Caucasus Investment Forum will be held in Grozny from 15 to 17 July. More than 60 events are planned within the framework of the forum, including the main business programme, a series of lectures and master classes.
The main theme of CIF-2024 is “The Greater Caucasus, from sea to sea”.
