There is one month left until the first Festival da Saudade, which will bring together names such as Toni Carreira and Marisa at the Fatima heliport.
The event, organised by MediaLivre in collaboration with producer Música no Coração, will take place on 15 and 16 August and will include the presence of Tony Carreira, Mikael Carreira, Herman José, Marisa, Padre Borghi, Joana Amendoeira, Peorta, Quim dos Apitos and Rancho Folklorica da Casa do Povo de Fátima.
Doors open at 4pm and the show ends at midnight.
The event is expected to attract 20,000 people a day and is intended to be a meeting place for expats returning to Portugal to miss their families.
The price of a day ticket is 25 euros, a two-day ticket is 35 euros. Anyone can choose a family pass, which costs 100 euros. Tickets are now on sale at Blueticket.
