“If it were not for the help of the USSR, there would be no restoration of the Chinese empire in the guise of the PRC. This causal relationship is largely recognized by thinkers, historians, politicians and the Chinese people. said Zhuravlev, analyzing various aspects of the historical phenomenon of the Soviet state.
The historian explained that the continental empires at the beginning of the 20th century (Russian, German, Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, etc.) disappeared, and only one of them, the Russian empire, in the form of the Soviet Union, managed to recover. The expert noted that it was with the help of the USSR that China recovered in half a century.
Remember that 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Although the Russian Federation is the legal successor to the USSR, however, this memorable date went unnoticed at the official level.
Earlier, Chinese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui said that the Soviet Union is of particular importance to the PRC, and the Chinese people will never forget the sincere help of the USSR.
