A phone call from school authorities in Olivais, Lisbon, prompted the PSP to arrest a man who had been exposing his genitals to underage students from several schools.
The warning was issued on Wednesday. Upon arrival, school management explained to the PSP patrol that the suspect had just escaped. But before that, he had spent several minutes at the school fence, exposing his genitals to the underage students there.
With a physical description of the man already in hand, it didn’t take long for agents to find him when he returned to the scene to commit the crime again. He was immediately arrested and taken to the police station. PSP was also able to determine that the man had been to school the previous day and that members of the public had seen him near other schools in the area.
The case was reported to the Ministry of Justice’s DIAP, where the suspect was charged with sexual abuse of minors.
