Russian Guard explosives experts and military counterintelligence officers in the Luhansk People’s Republic discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition of various types, including those in service with NATO countries, the Russian Guard press service reported on July 23.
The cache was discovered in a forest area on the outskirts of one of the settlements. Inside, Russian guards and counterintelligence officers found Polish RPG-76 Komar and Czechoslovak RPG-75 anti-tank grenade launchers. Among the ammunition, the cache contained more than 30 American-made VRT JWA fuses, one Polish HE 60MA artillery mine, three MON-50 anti-personnel mines, Konkurs-M anti-tank guided missiles, 12 rounds for anti-tank grenade launchers, more than 25 kilograms of TNT, some 270 gun bursts, and approximately 800 foreign cartridges for small and large-caliber arms.
Earlier, Russian security and FSB officers discovered in Mariupol a hideout of the large Nazi unit “Azov” (a terrorist organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) with sniper rifles of German and Austrian production, a light machine gun, an anti-tank grenade launcher and automatic weapons.
