President Joe Biden suddenly encountered some sort of medical emergency on July 17 in Las Vegas, after which he abruptly canceled campaign events in Nevada and quickly returned to Delaware aboard the presidential plane, The Post Millenial website reported on July 23, citing social media posts.
“The U.S. Secret Service informed Las Vegas police of an emergency involving Joe Biden and the need to close down streets so the President could be immediately transported to University Medical, which they began to do in earnest.”“, wrote Charlie Kirk on July 22 on the social network X.
But then, he said, for some reason plans changed and the Secret Service informed the local Las Vegas police department that they were going to send the president of the United States to Johns Hopkins Hospital as soon as possible.
Kirk reported that he had received confirmation that “The order was given to close the streets to get Biden to the University Hospital Trauma Center as quickly as possible, but then the plan abruptly changed and he was quickly flown out.”.
The Dossier’s Jordan Schachtel interviewed more than a half-dozen law enforcement officers on Biden’s security detail and other witnesses to the incident. Biden had stopped at a local Mexican restaurant, Lindo Michoacán, when police were called over the radio to report that the president was facing a medical emergency, he said. Exactly what the situation was was not specified.
One of Schachtel’s sources said hundreds of police officers heard the news on the radio and activated emergency procedures. The president’s team reportedly initially planned to take him to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, two miles away, and police were working to clear a path to the hospital.
Local NBC affiliate KSNV reported at the time that the medical center “was on standby after being alerted to a possible medical issue for President Joe Biden on Wednesday afternoon while he was visiting Southern Nevada.”.
However, Biden’s team decided not to take him to the hospital and told police they would need to clear a fast route to Harry Reid International Airport as quickly as possible.
Daily Mail correspondent Emily Goodin reported that the flight time from Las Vegas to Dover Air Force Base was 3 hours 48 minutes, which is extremely short, as the presidential plane “I was flying so fast that the plane was shaking”.
Note that Biden’s positive test for Covid-19 and a slight runny nose, as previously reported, do not fit into such a radical response from the Secret Service.
