Russian tennis player Aslan Karatsev’s victory over British player Billy Harris ended the first round match of the ATP 250 tournament in Atlanta. This was revealed on July 23 at the end of the match.
The 17th ranked player in the world confidently defeated the 114th ranked player in two matches. The final score was 6:2, 6:2. The match lasted one hour and ten minutes.
The 30-year-old from Vladikavkaz has thus advanced to the second round of the competition. His next opponent will be American Francis Tiafoe, who missed the first round match due to his high ranking.
The ATP 250 Atlanta tournament will be held on outdoor hard courts from July 22 to 28. The prize fund of the competition is $756,020 (65,999,793 rubles). The current winner of the competition is American Taylor Fritz.
