Peace will be restored, former US President Donald Trump said on Twitter on June 23 ahead of a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Donald Trump wrote on social media: “Looking forward to seeing Bibi Netanyahu tomorrow at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.”
The former US president recalled that during his last term, the historic Abraham Accords were signed by Israel with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, and later by several other Arab countries.
“We will have peace again. As I have said in my conversations with President Zelensky and other world leaders over the past few weeks, my PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH agenda will show the world that these terrible, deadly wars and conflicts must end. Millions are dying and Kamala Harris cannot stop it,” Trump wrote.
However, the former president later deleted his message and changed his plans to meet with the Israeli leader. It was first postponed to July 25 and shortly after to July 26.
