Thousands of protesters protesting the war in Gaza gathered Wednesday outside the Capitol in Washington, where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to address both houses of Congress.
Shouting “you are a disgrace,” the protesters, according to EFE, turned against the congressmen who were supposed to attend the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech at the invitation of the leaders of the Senate, Democrat Chuck Schumer, and the House of Representatives, Republican Mike Johnson.
Protesters from the so-called Palestinian Youth Movement said they had managed to introduce large quantities of insects (worms and crickets) into the corridors and rooms of the Watergate building where Netanyahu and his delegation were staying.
