
Paid public works will be organized in the Irkutsk region in accordance with the national project “Demography” on February 15, the press service of the regional governor reported.
The budget for such work in 2023 will be 52 million rubles. These events are organized to support the employment of the population.
In addition to organized work in the region, there are also other measures to support employment. In particular, temporary jobs are being created for workers who already have a permanent job, but are under threat of dismissal. Assistance is provided to employers to upskill or train employees. 85 million rubles from the federal budget were allocated for these activities to support the able-bodied population of the Irkutsk region.
According to the press service of the Governor of the Irkutsk Region, in 2022, 359 cooperation agreements were signed between the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the region and employment centers. According to the Minister of Labor and Employment Kirill Klokov, jobs were organized for residents of the region in agriculture, in educational and medical institutions, in construction and transport organizations.
