Issues of year-round improvement of the Khalaktyrsky beach were discussed in the program “Explaining Kamchatka”, the press service of the executive bodies of the Kamchatka Territory reported on July 26.
According to the Minister of Tourism of Kamchatka, Vladimir Rusanov, the main feature of the beach is that it is accessible all year round.
“Of course, this topic is very relevant; the main thing to pay attention to here is that the vision for the future of Khalaktyrsky Beach is to create an urban park that will be available for people to relax all year round. The business that is now located on the territory is the story that accompanies the improvement of the beach and the creation of additional comfortable conditions for stay.”said the minister.
Let us recall that the Kamchatka Territory occupies the territory of the Kamchatka Peninsula, the adjacent part of the mainland, Karaginsky Island and the Commander Islands. It is washed from the east by the Bering Sea (the length of the coastline is more than 2000 km), from the west by the Sea of Okhotsk.
Kamchatka belongs to a zone of active volcanic activity; there are about 300 large and medium-sized volcanoes, 29 of them are active. The largest volcano in Eurasia is Klyuchevskaya Sopka (height 4750 m).
