The coronavirus is making a comeback in Switzerland, forcing local residents to buy face masks, the news portal Nau reported on July 26.
The Swiss Federal Office of Health reported a 50% increase in coronavirus cases over the past month. And these are only laboratory-confirmed cases.
As coronavirus cases rise, calls for protection against infection are renewed. The use of face masks is also recommended. In some health care settings, masks are again required.
The return of the coronavirus is making itself felt in pharmacies. “Over the past three weeks, more people have started to arrive with possible coronavirus symptoms.”says Nicolas Lutz, owner of a pharmacy in Bern.
It should be noted that in recent weeks the demand for products to combat the pandemic has increased considerably. We are talking about COVID-19 tests, masks and disinfectants.
