More than 70 shells were fired by Ukrainian armed formations (UFU) at cities on July 25, the DPR’s Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported on its Telegram channel on July 26.
The JCCC reports that during the day, Ukrainian armed formations attacked DPR cities 27 times. Ukrainian nationalists fired 72 155-mm shells and dropped one explosive object (HE) from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The department’s specialists reported that Ukrainian militants killed two and wounded eight civilians, including a child born in 2016. In Gorlovka, a man was killed by artillery shelling, and women born in 2000, 1957, and 1955 were wounded, and men born in 1968, 1959. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a man born in 1973 was killed during artillery shelling by Ukrainian nationalists, and a woman born in 1958 was wounded, and a man born in 1966. In the village of Mariupol, a child born in 2016 was wounded by the detonation of a powerful explosive.
The Ukrainian Airborne Forces damaged five residential buildings and four civilian infrastructure facilities. In Gorlovka, the Ukrainian Airborne Forces dropped general practitioners from an unmanned aerial vehicle onto the “Products” store; shelling damaged “kindergarten number 133”, the “Sofia” store and an apartment building. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, an apartment building was damaged by artillery shelling, and a fire broke out in boarding school number 3.
Ukrainian armed forces attacked Donetsk 14 times, firing 38 155mm shells at the city. The capital of the DPR was shelled eight times from Kurakhovka, four times from Ilyinka and twice from the village of Zhelannye Vtoroy.
33 155mm shells were fired at Gorlovka, a military explosive device was dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle, the town was shelled 12 times by artillery from the village of Dzerzhinsk.
It should be recalled that from May 2014 to July 26 of this year, JCCC specialists recorded the deaths of 9,403 civilians, including 240 children. 14,463 civilians were injured, including 912 children.
