Fernando Madureira, known as “Macaco”, was interrogated again this Friday as part of a praetorian operation. The former leader of the “Superdragons” was confronted with new evidence, testimonies and messages collected on mobile phones.
The “monkey” was interrogated in prison. The defendant’s lawyers were in the Porto Judicial Police prison for about two hours, after which they made no statements.
In the afternoon, it will be the turn of Sandra Madureira, the wife of “Macaco”, to speak. Sandra is also a defendant in the case.
In recent days, Jamaica, Thiago Aguiar, Vitor Catao and Fernando Saul have already been heard.
The 12 defendants are being questioned as prosecutors prepare to bring charges over attacks on the General Assembly last November.
