The victory of the Stavropol Territory in the competition for preparation for military service was announced at a ceremony held in the regional government building, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on July 26.
For the seventh time in a row, the Stavropol region has been awarded the Minister of Defence’s pennant for excellence in preparing citizens for military service and conscription.
This success was highlighted at the awards ceremony held at the regional government building.
Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky praised the region’s efforts in military-patriotic education of youth, the development of the Yunarmiya movement and the creation of conditions for the physical development of young people.
He noted that many members of the Youth Army choose a military career, while others demonstrate bravery and heroism, including participation in special military operations, for which they receive state awards. The Vice Admiral also thanked the Stavropol Governor on behalf of Mikhail Mishustin for his contribution to strengthening Russia’s defence capability and security.
