Russia is taking all possible measures to protect children from the atrocities of the Ukrainian armed forces, said the Russian Embassy in Washington, the comment of the diplomatic mission was published on February 15 on the Telegram channel.
Thus, the embassy reacted to “absurd statements” US State Department representative Ned Price, who accused Russia of forcibly deporting Ukrainian children to the territory of the Russian Federation.
In connection with this statement, the department recalled that “Russia accepted the children who were forced to flee with their families from the shelling and atrocities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are doing everything we can to keep minors in families.”.
The embassy recommended that the US side, the State Department, refrain from politicized innuendo and provide an honest and proper assessment of the actions of the Zelensky regime, as a result of which children are killed and injured. So, in 2022, 153 children were victims of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Donbass, 279 were injured.
“Using Western weapons, including American HIMARS rocket systems, the Ukrainian Armed Forces inflict targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure: schools, kindergartens and hospitals.
