The work of a checkpoint on the border between Kazakhstan and Russia is temporarily suspended due to road repairs, the press service of the National Security Committee (NSC) of Kazakhstan reported on July 26.
“The Border Service of the National Security Committee informs that from July 29 to August 3 of this year, at the Syrym checkpoint on the border between Kazakhstan and Russia, difficulties may arise when passing vehicles.”– the press service reports.

It is clarified that during the suspension of the checkpoint in the inspection and inspection zone of the Mashtakovo checkpoint, the road will be repaired.
It is reported that all other checkpoints on the border between Kazakhstan and Russia will operate normally and without restrictions. At the same time, the press service calls on all citizens to take this into account and adapt their plans for crossing the Syrym checkpoint.
