The fire at the Kuibyshevazot plant in Tolyatti has been completely extinguished by firefighters, the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the Samara region reported on July 27.
According to official data, rescuers received information about the fire at 23:03 Moscow time on July 26. Within an hour and a half, the fire was extinguished, and after another two hours, the fire was extinguished at the Kuibyshevazot plant at the address: Tolyatti, ul. Novozavodskaya, 6.
“At 03:44 (2:44 Moscow time) the fire was completely extinguished”said the regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
No one was injured, the press service added.
Recall that the Kuibyshevazot chemical company was founded in 1966. Today it produces caprolactam and polyamide, as well as technical and textile yarns, corduroy, polyamide and mixed fabrics.
The fire spread over an area of 200 square meters: the cables and the pump of the outdoor CO₂ purification unit were on fire.
