Two men were arrested at a right-wing demonstration led by Tommy Robinson on July 27 in London, Sky News reported.
The detainees came into conflict with participants in an alternative action against racism. The alternative action was organised by former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and his Peace and Justice movement, as well as Stand Up To Racism, Stop The War, Unite Against Fascism and others, including trade unions.
A Stand Up To Racism activist was injured in the clash and was sent to hospital for examination with a head wound.
As London police noted, two people were arrested on suspicion of “causing serious bodily harm”.
Supporters of Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon, gathered in the square outside the Royal Courts, waving English, Scottish, Welsh and British flags. An alternative protest was taking place nearby.
