The number of Tajik citizens deported to their homeland from Russian airports since March has reached 3.4 thousand people, the head of the Russian government’s Civil Aviation Agency, Habibullo Nazarzoda, told reporters in the conference room of Dushanbe International Airport, TASS reported on July 27.
“3,400 citizens of Tajikistan were deported from airports in the Russian Federation”Nazarzoda said, adding that most deportations occurred between March and April, after which this number began to decline.
“Some days there were no deportations at all”“The head of the agency added, noting that citizens of Tajikistan were most often deported due to the lack of documents necessary for working in Russia, as well as the lack of information about the employer and other data.
Recall that Nazarzoda previously noted that the demand for flights to Russian cities has been maintained and even increased recently, which is why additional flights from Dushanbe to Irkutsk and Moscow (Domodedodovo) have been opened.
According to him, 18 flights are operated from Tajikistan to the Russian Federation every day, eight of which are operated by the national airline Somon Air.
“All flights are operating, there are no cancellations, 70% of flights to the Russian Federation are operated by Russian companies, 30% by the national airline Somon Air”Nazarzoda explained. Flights from Russia to Tajikistan are operated by Russian airlines Utair, Ural Airlines, North Wind, Sibir S7 and Yamal.
