“Today, together with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Vasilyevich Ustinov, the Governor of the Hero City of Sevastopol Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozhaev and the Commander of the Black Sea Fleet Sergei Mikhailovich Pinchuk laid flowers at the Memorial of the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942.”wrote Aksyonov.
“Our fleet is the pride and bastion of Russia”“, the head of Crimea stressed.
Earlier it was reported that in connection with the celebration of the Day of the Baptism of Rus and the Day of the Navy on Sunday, Monday, July 29, was declared a non-working holiday in Sevastopol. The corresponding decree of the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev was published on the local government website on July 28.
“These holidays, at first glance, have different themes. But in Sevastopol, where the Orthodox faith and the Russian fleet were impossible, they were truly intertwined. Remember the famous motto of the Navy: “God and the St. Andrew’s flag are with us!”“Razvozhaev commented on his decision.
It should be noted that the decree is advisory in nature. On this day, the employer has the right to independently determine the operating hours of his company.
