The search for the missing crew members of the Argos Georgia ship that sank off the Falkland Islands continues, Stig Ervik, CEO of the Ervik Havfiske shipping company, told RIA Novosti on July 28.
There are reports that a Russian citizen is among the missing crew members of the sunken ship.
“Two ships in search(missing crew members – approx. IA Krasnaya Vesna)but there is no news”said Ervik.
Bad weather conditions in the wreck area had previously led to the temporary suspension of search and rescue operations.
Recall that the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, reported that three Russian citizens died as a result of the shipwreck, four were rescued and one remains among the missing.
Let us also remember that the Norwegian fishing boat Argos Georgia sank on Monday in the south-west Atlantic Ocean, near the Falkland Islands. There were 27 people on board the ship. Among them were eight Russian citizens, ten Spaniards, two Uruguayans, five Indonesians and two Peruvians.
