The unemployment rate in the Trans-Baikal Territory has fallen to a record low, said Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government Victoria Bessonova on July 28, GTRK-Chita reports.
“In five years, thanks, among other things, to the work of the Employment Service, 75,000 citizens were able to do the necessary jobs and 5,000 were retrained,” – said Bessonova.
He also reported on the efforts of the authorities to attract young specialists to the workplace. One of the approaches was individual support for students: from students to young specialists working at enterprises in Transbaikalia.
The regional organizations can sign a preliminary agreement or a letter of intent with universities and secondary specialized educational institutions to “discuss the route for students who want to continue living and working in Transbaikalia,” the official said.
