This call is a response to “international silence and the inability to stop the war in Gaza, to the bias of the US Administration and its total support” for Israel.
The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniye, has called for the mobilization at national and international level in support of the Gaza Strip, the target of an Israeli retaliatory offensive that has killed nearly 40,000 people since October 7.
Haniyeh has called for an “effective national, Arab, Islamic and international mobilisation” in support of the Gazan population and Palestinian prisoners on 3 August, which would also be the starting point for actions to demand a cessation of hostilities.
This call is a response to “international silence and the inability to stop the war in Gaza, to the bias of the US Administration and its total support” for Israel.
It also denounces the “inability of human rights and humanitarian organisations to assume responsibility for the rights of the Palestinian people in Gaza and prisoners in jails.”
