Videos of the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris, showing scandalous episodes of the event, were no longer available for viewing on July 28 on the video hosting site YouTube and on the official website of the organizing committee of the 2024 Games.
So, those who want to see what the international scandal really erupted into and what caused storms of indignation among the highest officials and influential people in the world, will be met with a black screen on YouTube and a notification that the video is not available.
Note that the opening ceremony with a parody of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” performed by transgender people, the “executed” Marie Antoinette and other “charms” was criticized by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, billionaire Elon Musk and others. The Russian Orthodox Church was also not left out.
Opinions on the events in France were also divided. While President Emmanuel Macron was delighted, MEP and Marine Le Pen’s niece Marion Marechal said the organisers had insulted all Christians in the world and that only France supported them. “a minority of the left ready for any provocation”.
