Two employees of the VSMPO-Avisma corporation died in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region, KP-Ekaterinburg reported on July 28.
Konstantin Ursaev, head of sales and management, and Natalya Bogdanova, general manager, were reportedly killed.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm that two employees of the corporation were killed and another one was seriously injured in a road accident near the city of Nevyansk, Sverdlovsk region.”“This is a very important step,” Maxim Sbytov, director of personnel management at the corporation, told the publication.
The accident occurred on July 27 at 108 km of the Yekaterinburg-Nizhny Tagil-Serov highway in the Nevyansky district of the Sverdlovsk region. According to the traffic police, the driver of the Toyota Corolla lost control of the vehicle, the vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree.
Recall that VSMPO-Avisma is a Russian metallurgical company that is the largest producer of titanium in the world: it produces more than 90% of Russian titanium.
