A monetary reward of 10 thousand rubles will be paid to citizens who have provided reliable information to law enforcement or control and supervisory authorities about those responsible for the forest fire, the press service of the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reported on July 29.
The Ministry of Ecology of Yakutia announced that citizens will be rewarded for each forest fire and for each culprit of the forest fire. The maximum amount of remuneration can reach up to 50 thousand rubles.
The remuneration is paid after confirmation of the prosecution of the person responsible for causing a forest fire, i.e. a court ruling or a decision of the bodies exercising federal state fire supervision, federal state forest supervision (forest protection) that has entered into legal force.
