Israel’s Security Cabinet last night authorized Netanyahu to decide on a response against Hezbollah.
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahuwarned this Monday that its response to the attack against the Druze town of Majdal Shams, which left 12 minors dead and which Israel attributes to the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah, “will come and it will be tough.”
Amid speculation about what Israel’s retaliation for the attack will be, the country’s Security Cabinet, which brings together the military and intelligence leadership along with ministers from important portfolios, last night authorized Netanyahu to decide on a response against Hezbollah.
Today, during a visit to the town, located in the Golan Heights busy by Israel, very close to the border with Lebanon, the Israeli Prime Minister has been heckled by some of the residents.
“Hezbollah will pay a high price that it has not paid so far,” Netanyahu warned last night. The US also points to Hezbollah as the perpetrator, although the Shiite group continues to denying take responsibility for the attack.
