The list of terrorist and extremist organizations was supplemented by the Free Russia Foundation (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) and more than 50 nationalist and separatist movements, the department’s website reported on July 29.
The list also includes the Free Buryatia Foundation (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), the Free Karelia movements (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), Free Yakutia (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), etc.
The director of the fund, Natalya Arno (Budaeva), is included in the list of foreign agents.
Recall that the Free Russia Foundation (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) was established in 2014 by Russian emigrants in the United States together with Western expert communities. FRF is dedicated to supporting victims of “political repression” and civil society.
