Ensuring uninterrupted transit of oil through the territory of Ukraine was discussed over the phone with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó on July 29, the Hungarian minister reported on his Facebook page (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation).
“We continue to work to restore the long-term security of our oil supplies, so this morning I again held telephone talks with my Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and Slovakia’s Juraj Blanar.”said Szijjarto.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine, by violating the Association Agreement with the EU, threatens the security of energy supplies to Hungary.
Recall that on July 18, Ukraine blocked the transit of oil from the Russian company Lukoil to Slovakia and Hungary.
