Passengers of the Kazan-Adler train, who were in temporary accommodation centres in Kotelnikovo after an emergency on the railway, have started to be transported by buses, the administration of the Volgograd region reports on its Telegram channel.
“Passengers of the Kazan-Adler train, accommodated in temporary accommodation centres in Kotelnikovo, are beginning to board buses.”the message says.
It should be noted that buses go to Gremyachaya station, from where the train will take them to Adler. The departure time of the train is still being determined.
Recall that on July 29, on the Gremyachaya – Kotelnikovo section in the Volgograd region, the driver of a KamAZ truck ran a red light at a railway crossing, where he collided with passenger train No. 491, which was traveling along the Kazan-Adler route.
As a result of the accident, nine carriages derailed, seven of which overturned. The train was carrying 803 passengers and around 140 people were injured to varying degrees. The incident caused the interruption of rail traffic on this section.
