There is no clear explanation as to how they managed to do this, but the truth is that the Alpine A110 of the French National Gendarmerie managed to “catch” a Lamborghini Urus at high speed.
Firstly, last week he was photographed on radar at 210 km/h on a section of the A8 motorway near Marseille, and was followed by a police patrol from Bouches-du-Rhône.
It’s safe to say that the 650hp produced by the super-SUV’s twin-turbo V8 engine wasn’t enough to beat the Alpine A110 VRI (Vehicle Rapid Response) with its properly tuned 300hp.
The punishment for the amateur Urus driver was immediate and very severe: confiscation of the car and driver’s license, as well as a sleepless night at the departmental police station.
