The Israeli army has admitted on Tuesday that it has carried out an attack, which it calls “targeted”, in Beirut (Lebanon). The target is believed to be a senior commander of the Shiite militia party Hezbollah, but it has claimed the life of at least one woman.
Several people were also injured, some of them critically, in the attack, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.

Twelve Israeli Druze civilians, most of them minors, were killed on Sunday in Majdal Shamsin the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights, was hit by what Israel said was an Iranian rocket launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon. Hezbollah, however, denies any involvement and attributes the incident to an Israeli anti-aircraft interceptor missile.
