CP suppressed 61 trains out of 252 scheduled from 00:00 to 08:00 due to strikes in the company, most of which were regional, inter-regional and urban in Lisbon, according to a balance sheet sent by the company to Luso. .
Of the 252 trains scheduled from 00:00 to 08:00, 191 departed and 61 canceled (24.2%).
CP – Comboios de Portugal indicates that 72 regional and inter-regional trains were scheduled, 29 of which were delayed and 43 were sent.
In terms of urban areas, 115 were planned in Lisbon, 24 suppressed and 91 implemented.
In terms of urban projects in Porto, 53 were planned for this period, 45 were implemented and eight were cancelled.
All planned long-distance trains (12) were carried out.
KP has in its websitenotification of passengers about interruptions in traffic until February 21.
“Due to the strikes organized by the National Union of Portuguese Railways (SMAQ), the National Union of Railway Workers (SNTSF) and the Trade Union of Traveling Commercial Railway Inspectors (SFRCI), there will be serious disruptions to the circulation of trains within the country from 00:00 February 8, 2023 to 24:00 February 21, 2023.
SMAQ’s Antonio Dominguez told Lusa last week that the reason for the strike was the company’s lack of response to wage increases.
