In the analyzed period, according to ERSE, the most competitive offers were presented by hypermarkets, in particular, 1.2 cents per liter lower than those of budget segment operators.
On the other hand, they were 6.3% lower than at stations “operating under the flag of an oil company, which is a difference of 10.7 cents per litre.”
In June, added gasoline cost consumers an average of 2.4% more than regular 95-octane gasoline.
In the case of plain diesel, PVP fell by 0.9% in June, in contrast to the behavior seen in international markets.
The ISP applied to diesel fuel remained unchanged in June compared to the previous month.
The energy regulator said the largest portion of PVP paid by the consumer also corresponds to taxes (45.9%), followed by quote and delivery prices (37.8%).
“Operating costs and marketing margins, use of biofuels, logistics and creation of strategic reserves together account for about 16.3% of the average PVP of plain diesel,” he said.
Hypermarkets remained the operators with the most competitive average prices, offering average prices around 10.5 cents per litre below the recommended retail price.
In June, operators with “budget” offers offered plain diesel at an average price of 1,538 euros per litre, equivalent to an additional 1.1% compared to the price in hypermarkets.
“Flag oil companies are reporting an average price of 1.645 euros per litre, which is about 2.0 cents per litre above the national average. In June, the purchase of diesel with additives showed an increase of 5.7 cents per litre compared to regular diesel,” he added.
