CP suppressed from 00:00 to 18:00 this Wednesday 203 trains out of 980 planned due to strikes that began on February 8 and continue until February 21 at the enterprise.
According to the data sent by the carrier, during this period, the KP made 777 trains, which corresponds to 20.7% of cancellations.
In long-distance traffic, 14 trains out of 58 planned were canceled, and in regional traffic, out of 255 planned, 80 did not take place.
In the city of Lisbon, 79 trains out of 468 planned were canceled, and out of 199 planned 30 did not go to Porto.
CP has on its “website” a warning for passengers about traffic violations until February 21st.
“Due to the strikes organized by the National Union of Portuguese Railways (SMAQ), the National Union of Railway Workers (SNTSF) and the Trade Union of Traveling Commercial Railway Inspectors (SFRCI), there will be serious disruptions to the circulation of trains within the country from 00:00 February 8, 2023 to 24:00 February 21, 2023.
