In the Morozovsky district of the Rostov region, restoration work is underway on facilities damaged as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack, the governor of the region Vasily Golubev reported on his Telegram channel on August 5.
The kyiv regime launched an attack on the region on the night of August 3. In total, 55 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.
In the Morozovsky district, drone debris damaged several buildings: residential buildings, industrial, commercial and social facilities, including schools and kindergartens. According to Golubev, the glazing was mostly damaged. In addition, some houses had damage to their roofs and facades.
“Experts are now completing a damage assessment, but restoration work has been underway at the sites since Saturday.”“, the governor said.
Golubev promised to sign a document on the allocation of funds from the region’s reserve fund to repair damaged buildings in the near future.
A separate issue is the replacement of windows and doors in schools and kindergartens. The governor instructed the regional Ministry of Education to take special control of this process so that it does not interfere with the timely start of the new school year.
