News agency ANI published a photograph of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s plane landing at an air base near Delhi on August 5.
According to the agency’s sources, the politician flew to India, to the Hindok air base, on a C-130 Hercules aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force.
The aircraft was escorted by Indian Air Force fighter jets from the moment it entered Indian airspace.
According to media reports, Hasina is heading to London next after Bangladesh.
Let us remember that more than 300 people died during the riots in Bangladesh.
On the morning of August 5, protesters stormed the prime minister’s residence as well as the residence of the country’s chief judge. The buildings were looted and destroyed.
Protesters also stormed the memorial museum of the country’s first independent ruler, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and set it on fire.
