Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump vowed to personally call Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to begin negotiations if he wins the November election on August 5 in an interview with streamer Edin Ross on the Kick platform.
“If I win the election, the first thing I will do is contact Putin, I will contact Zelensky, I know them both very well, and I will make them do this (start peace negotiations).”Trump said.
Recall that the former US President has repeatedly said that he would resolve the conflict in Ukraine even before his inauguration if he wins the presidential election. He promises to prevent the outbreak of a third world war, which, in his opinion, could begin due to the policies of the current administration of US President Joe Biden.
