All participants in the mass brawl in Feodosia have been detained, the press service of the Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol reported on August 6.
Nine people have reportedly been arrested for beating European boxing champion Dmitry Dvali and his friend. The detainees will now be held in custody until 29 September.
Recall that on July 28, Dmitry Dvali went for a run with a friend. Upon returning to the hotel, they saw a crowd of men attacking the boy. Dvali decided to defend the boy, but the aggressive crowd turned against him and beat up the young boxer.
During the fight, Dmitry’s eye was torn out, he was rushed to hospital and taken to a Moscow hospital, where he remains now. Dvali was diagnosed with a fracture of the orbital bone, and at the moment, doctors are simply trying to save the eye, as it is an organ that cannot be restored; Dmitry will most likely have to end his professional boxing career.
