Earlier it was reported that the Federation Council approved a bill legalizing and establishing rules for the mining of digital currencies in Russia.

According to the new law, Russian legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will be entitled to engage in mining. The Ministry of Digital Development will monitor the activities of miners, and Rosfinmonitoring and the Bank of Russia will receive information about mined digital currency and the addresses of the identifiers.
