The project to modernize the Khrompik plant in Pervouralsk has been assigned the status of a priority investment project in the Sverdlovsk region, the head of the region, Evgeny Kuyvashev, signed the corresponding order, the regional information policy department reported on August 6.
In total, 30 billion rubles will be invested in modernizing production in the period 2024-2028. This is expected to lead to significant increases in productivity and higher production volumes.
The modernization project involves the introduction of technologies that eliminate the negative impact on the environment and the transition to low-waste sodium monochromate production, as well as the recycling of previously accumulated waste.
“The status of a participant in a priority investment project allows a company to apply property tax benefits, a reduced income tax rate and, starting in 2025, an investment tax deduction.”the message says.
Recall that Khrompik is one of the largest producers of chromium compounds in Russia. In the fall of 2023, the plant changed ownership and became part of Poliplast PA.
