The prosecutor’s office is investigating the injury of a teenager involved in construction work, the press service of the Kaliningrad region prosecutor’s office reported on the Telegram channel on August 6.
On August 5, in the village of Lugovoe, Guryevsky district, Kaliningrad region, a 14-year-old boy fell from the top floor of a school under construction through a technological hole onto the concrete floor. It is stated that safety rules were violated during construction work.
The teenager was hospitalized in critical condition. According to preliminary information, the minor was working as an auxiliary worker without the proper labor relations registration.
A criminal case has been initiated for violation of safety regulations during construction and other works. The prosecutor’s office is checking the implementation of federal legislation, the progress of the investigation of the case is under the control of the prosecutor’s office.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kaliningrad region, the crime scene has been inspected, the necessary documents have been seized, several forensic examinations have been ordered, and witnesses have been questioned. Work is underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident and the person who will be charged as the accused.
