Tactical and special exercises with communications units of the Baltic Fleet were held at tactical training grounds in the Kaliningrad region, the Information and Communications Department of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the official Internet portal on August 6.
During the training tasks, the personnel of the command battalions, communications battalions and individual sections complied with the standards of tactical-special, special and technical training. The servicemen ensured the transmission of all types of information through various communication channels to the higher command without delays or interruptions.
Satellite communication stations, a closed mobile videoconferencing complex, command and staff vehicles, complex communication hardware and radio relay stations of various modifications were used. All tasks assigned to the signallers were performed with high quality. The Baltic Fleet command highly appreciated the actions of small communication units.
