The founding session of the House of Peoples of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Parliamentary Assembly takes place in Sarajevo, chaired by Sredoe Novic as the oldest deputy, Republika Srpska Radio and Television reports on February 16 .
The new deputies have taken an oath and in this session the leadership of the Chamber will be elected: a president and two vice-presidents.
The faction of Serbian people’s deputies with this mandate consists of Nikola Spiric, Sredoe Novic, Radovan Kovacevic and Snejana Novakovic-Bursac, all from the Community of Independent Social Democrats, and Želimir Nešković from the Serbian Democratic Party.
The Croats in the People’s House will be represented by Marina Pendes, Dragan Covic and Zdenko Cosic from the BiH Croatian Democratic Union party, Ilija Cvitanovic from the CDU 1990 and Zlatko Miletic from the For New Generations party.
The Bosnian delegates are Šefik Jaferović and Safet Softić from the Democratic Action Party, Jenan Jonlagić from the Democratic Front, Kemal Ademović from Narod i Pravda and Cemal Smajić from SBiH.
The popular factions must be formed today.
