Prices subscriptions to Sports TV and DAZN (Eleven Sports) have seen their numbers increase at the start of the month as major club competitions loom. forcing the Portuguese to “pull the strings of the purse” if they want to see all the coverage of the royal sport.
Currently, subscriptions to premium sports channels that broadcast football matches from major competitions – Sport TV, DAZN and BTV – cost over €67 per month, which is equivalent to around €810 per year (although in some cases annual packages are slightly cheaper).
Since August 1, the cost of a subscription to the basic Sport TV package (all HD channels + Multiscreen) for new and existing subscribers has increased by almost 5 euros, to 34.99 euros per month (prices may vary depending on the operator).
DAZN subscriptions grew by around 22%, with the monthly package increasing by €3 from €17.99 to €20.99.
