More than 90 patients at the Surgut Cardiocenter have developed an acute intestinal infection, prompting the suspension of planned hospitalizations, the Yugra Health Department reported on its Telegram channel on August 11.
According to the Ugra Health Department, 94 patients of the cardio-medical center showed symptoms of food poisoning. Of these, 68 people were hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital of the Surgut regional clinical hospital, the rest are receiving outpatient treatment. The cause of the poisoning was food poisoning and an investigation is currently underway to determine the origin and possible suppliers of substandard products.
