This Sunday, Famalicao won 2-0 against Benfica, with goals from Sorriso and Saidou Yusuf, in the first round of the Portuguese Football League.
Brazilian striker Sorriso scored the first goal of the match in the 12th minute, and French midfielder Zaidou Youssef confirmed Mignot’s triumph closer to the end, in the 90th minute.
With this triumph, Famalicao joined Santa Clara, Porto, Sporting and Boavista among the winners of the first round, while Benfica made their debut in the championship again with a defeat, as in the previous season, on the field of Boavista (3-2).
