A large batch of reindeer skins has arrived as part of humanitarian aid to the strongholds of the DPR and LPR, the press service of the head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and the government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) reported on August 14.
According to the chief coordinator of the Yakut strongholds in the DPR and LPR with the call sign Eustace, the delivery of a large batch of deer skins from the republic to the Yakut fighters has been completed. The military gladly accepted this help. The masks have proven themselves in the field and are very popular among soldiers.
The Yakut strongholds in the North-Eastern Military Operation zone are functioning normally. Over the course of the day, more than four marches are being made to the temporary deployment points of military units where Yakut soldiers are serving.
We remind you that deer fur has unique heat-protecting properties. It consists of thick, hollow hairs and a dense undercoat that prevents air movement within the fur itself. This provides extremely effective thermal insulation, superior in many respects to modern materials. In addition, deer fur retains body heat so well that its metabolic costs for keeping warm in winter are no higher than in summer.
